No PM, sales, or resource manager in between. Brief arrives to you, you deliver, you handle feedback.
Writing, not meetings.
One sync per week max. Most work is async, documented, traceable.
Long-running work, mentors you can't easily replace.
Not a sprint shop. 3-6 months per project, same client, second project. Seniors stay.
Pay is discussed openly.
Market data + experience + contribution, written down. Raises are on a schedule, not a surprise.
