Problem
The brand domain had been stuck on an old WordPress theme for a long time: half-finished content, fake links left over from the theme demo, and a constant maintenance and security burden. It was fragile, hard to update and unbecoming of a national academy.
Solution
- The old WordPress was fully removed and replaced with an independent, lightweight PHP 8 stack
- The advisory board, programs and application process were gathered on a single premium page in the academy's corporate identity (Kumbh Sans, corporate purple)
- The contact form was hardened with CSRF, a bot honeypot and rate limiting
- WordPress admin surfaces such as wp-admin were closed off, removing the attack surface
- Corporate e-mail was preserved without interruption throughout the migration

An education brand's main site is the first point of contact that reflects the brand's level and builds trust. An unmaintained WordPress theme erodes that trust; a lightweight, secure corporate PHP site is both faster and easier to manage. The structure we built for Güçlü Öğrenme Akademisi is our reference for organizations that want to move off WordPress into a proper corporate identity.
FAQ
Why move from WordPress to PHP? +
The old theme was half-finished, unmaintained and a security burden. A lightweight, dependency-free PHP stack is both faster and more secure; updates and extensions are entirely under our control.
What happened to e-mail and security during the migration? +
Corporate e-mail was migrated without any interruption and the old WordPress admin surfaces were fully closed; the brand domain now serves only the new, secure site.
